THE CHALLENGE

Creating a strong summer cultural rendezvous to ensure the long-term success and attractiveness of a new cultural venue.

The challenge is to provide the Amphithéâtre Cogeco in Trois-Rivières, inaugurated in 2015, with a flagship production capable of establishing itself as a recurring event, attracting a broad audience, and sustainably stimulating summer tourism. For the city and its partners, the objective is to deliver a distinctive artistic experience with strong emotional value, one that strengthens Trois-Rivières’ cultural positioning on the Québec and Canadian stages.

The solution lies in Cirque du Soleil’s Tribute Series, which transforms each summer in Trois-Rivières into an unmissable cultural event.

For the 2025 edition, LES INCOUCHABLES pays tribute to Daniel Bélanger through an original creation blending music, acrobatics, and immersive visual storytelling. Presented on a reimagined outdoor stage, the show immerses audiences in a poetic universe inspired by insomnia, brought to life through original acrobatic performances and dreamlike characters. This approach renews the concert experience, creates an iconic annual event, and sustainably enhances the visibility and cultural appeal of Trois-Rivières.
